National CASA Association has developed a new and unique program to increase awareness of our program and to create a variety of fund- and friend-raising events for CASA in California.

In response to this, we have broken ground and recruited a committee, chaired by Suzan Hopper, to cultivate the community of Kern County.

 SPROUTING
CASA of Kern County is rising to the challenge and maximizing on this budding campaign by using promotional CASA plant stakes featuring images of happy children which includes CalCASA's toll-free phone number and website.  All inquires will be forwarded to the appropriate local CASA program.

Partnering with gardening retailers, we are supplying promotional plant stakes to designated retailers so that we can seek out potential volunteers - there is a parallel "nurturing a garden and the idea of nurturing a child!"

  FLOWERING
Our goal is to grow!  We want Kern County to flourish with volunteers.  Every child deserves the right to have a "forever" family and our volunteers can help to make that happen.
